For those who dont have the time, Aspen Landscape Development offers multiple customizable packages for landscape maintenance that can include simple one-time spring/fall cleanups, planter bed weeding, shrub and tree limb pruning, turf management, herbicide, and fertilizer applications along with all your irrigation needs.
TURF MANAGEMENT
Turf management consists of proper irrigation, fertilization and mowing at the correct heights throughout the season. With these elements in place your lawn will experience consistent growth and maintain a vibrant green color. Aspen Landscape Development provides this service as part of our comprehensive maintenance program or as a stand alone service.
PLANTING BED MAINTENANCE
Consistent maintenance of planting beds will ensure healthy plant growth and proper water usage. Removing weeds, maintaining proper mulch depth and pruning as needed to keep plants healthy and growing correctly is all part of maintaining healthy plantings. Aspen Landscape Development can provide this service as part of a comprehensive maintenance package or as a stand alone service.
FERTILIZATION PROGRAMS
Proper fertilization using quality organic fertilizer is paramount to a healthy, beautiful landscape. We use Organic fertilizers on all landscapes under our maintenance. Using high-quality fertilizer on the correct schedule allows for water conservation, prevents weeds in your lawn and insures healthy plant growth and flowering. Fertilization programs are included in our comprehensive landscape maintenance packages, or we can provide fertilization as a stand alone package.
IRRIGATION MAINTENANCE
Water is a precious resource not to be wasted. Your landscape needs this resource and with proper irrigation maintenance and scheduling you can manage your water to the highest level of efficiency possible. From a detailed irrigation audit to controller scheduling and service or repair, Aspen Landscape Development can provide what ever level of irrigation maintenance you need.
WATER FEATURE MAINTENANCE
Water features no matter how large or small require similar maintenance to keep the water clear and to minimize algae growth. There are two types of water features: formal fountains and natural water features.
Formal Fountains do not typically contain plants and or fish and therefore can be treated as a pool and treated with different chemicals than a natural feature.
Natural Water Features that contain plants and fish need to treated as a small eco-system that needs to be balanced. The elements needed for a balanced feature are oxygen in the water, sun, shade and nitrogen for the plants. Too much of any element will create an unbalanced feature and one ore more elements will suffer as a result. Aspen Landscape Development can recommend a proper maintenance program for your water feature to help create that needed balance required for a healthy eco-system.
Gold Package: Turf, Planter Beds, & Irrigation Maintenance
34 Total Maintenance Visits + 4 Scheduled Irrigation Visits
- Irrigation startup, repairs will be done on a T&M basis at a scheduled time
- Spring cleanup of planting beds and sidewalks
- Thatch and Aeration of turf areas
- Weekly maintenance of planting beds which includes spraying, raking out debris, weed removal
- Weekly mowing, edging as weather permits
- Irrigation monitoring and adjustment
- Turf fertilization mid April, June, Mid August
- Police for garbage
- Prune shrubs and lower tree limbs as needed
- Blow off sidewalks an other hard surfaces each week as necessary
- Dispose of organic debris generated by crew during visit off site (disposal of debris generated by owner will be an additional charge to owner and will be reflected on monthly billing)
- Fall Cleanup (Final pruning, raking out planter beds, removal of leaf and needle debris)
- Irrigation Winterization
- Backflow Testing
- 1 visits per month to police for garbage and do any necessary pruning/winter cleanup
Silver Package: Planter Beds & Irrigation Maintenance Only
18 Total Maintenance Visits + 4 Scheduled Irrigation Visits
- Irrigation startup, repairs will be done on a T&M basis
- Bi-weekly maintenance of planting beds which includes spraying, raking out debris, weed removal
- Irrigation monitoring and adjustment
- Prune shrubs and trees as needed
- Spring cleanup of planting beds and sidewalks
- Blow off sidewalks an other hard surfaces each week as necessary
- Dispose of organic debris generated by crew during visit off site (disposal of debris generated by owner will be an additional charge to owner and will be reflected on monthly billing)
- Annual Backflow test to be performed during start up
- Fall Cleanup (Final pruning, raking out planter beds, removal of leaf and needle debris)
- Irrigation Winterization
- 1 visits per month to police for garbage and do any necessary pruning/winter cleanup
Bronze Package: Turf & Irrigation Maintenance Only
32 Total Maintenance Visits + 4 Scheduled Irrigation Visits
- Weekly mowing, edging as weather permits (typical start date on or about April 15th)

- Turf fertilization approximately mid April, June, & August
- Irrigation monitoring and adjustment
